Thailand Open: Rankireddy-Ponnappa upset Olympic silver medallists, Subhankar gets walkover from Momota

India’s mixed doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Ashwini Ponnappa fought their way past the fifth seeded Malaysian duo of medallists Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying, while Subhankar Dey got a walkover from Kenta Momota in the first round of the Thailand Open.
